Commemorative Issue "Army Day"

FM199001 Army Day

Army Day was introduced as a state-wide holiday on August 1st in 1989 under the embattled Communist government. The Rajakratija government which followed it by end of that year decided to continue that holiday to unify and strengthen the Musogradian Army which had been split up and weakened during the civil wars. This tradition is still being held up today. Three arrows symbolizing the land, sea and air forces of Musogradij Armije are displayed on the commemorative stamp issued on that day. The stamp exists in a perforated and in an imperforated variant.

Commemorative Issue "Independence"

FM199002 Independence

Until 1990.10.03, the Musogradian state had no full sovereignty, existing in a form of semi-dependence to the Njemecka Res'publika Sajusna (NRS). On the occasion of the annexation of the Njemecka Res'publika Dimokratskaja (NRD) by the NRS, formally scheduled for 1990.10.03, the government of the Rajakratija saw the opportunity to declare full Independence and Sovereignty. The series of 3 perforated and 1 imperforated stamps issued to celebrate this shows the Independence Tower in Kosnice, where the king and government had its main residence at the time. The imperforated 10 NMD stamp is relatively rare and available in very limited numbers only.
